Thank you for considering Montrose Christian School. Montrose Christian School, a diverse caring community, provides a Bible-based liberal arts education to equip our students to fulfill God’s purposes for their lives. Established in 1977 to serve as a ministry providing a Christian education for the community, MCS strives to be excellent in every facet of life, impacting the world for the glory of God, one student at a time.

Montrose Christian School is a school that seeks to be excellent in all that we are and do. It is because of this commitment to excellence that our varsity boy’s basketball team is nationally ranked in ESPNRise and USAToday top 10. Seeking to have a community that reflects God’s diverse creation, MCS is an I-20 school with a thriving international student population that rivals most schools. Our commitment to excellence in academics has led many of our graduates to top-ranked /files/HSphysics2.JPG universities, such as Dartmouth, Harvard, University of Texas, Villanova, and University of Maryland, to name just a few, and several of these with scholarships. And beginning with the 2009-10 academic year, students will have opportunity to learn Latin, beginning in grade 3, which will aid dramatic improvement in your student’s SAT scores. Our commitment to excellence has also produced students who are intimately acquainted with the person and work of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Bible, challenging students from the Word of God in Bible classes that are required of all grades.
