All applicants should have their current English and Math teacher each fill out a Student Recommendation Form after the end of the first semester of the current school year. The teachers must then mail the completed confidential form(s) directly to Montrose Christian School. 5. Take a standardized entrance exam. Entrance exams are administered at Montrose Christian School. Applicants will be tested on their reading and math abilities for their current grade level. 6. Participate in a MCS Shadow Day (optional) Shadow days also available for middle and high school students. Applicants are matched with a peer representative. They will be given the opportunity to participate in our daily academic program and experience the welcoming Montrose environment. Shadow Days are scheduled when school is in full session. They can be on the same day as the Family Interview. 7. A Family Interview with the Head of School will be scheduled once all application materials are received. Prior to the interview, please download and read the MCS Student & Parent Handbook. We ask that both parents accompany the student at the interview.
